MP Amer al-Fayez said on Saturday that there were internal and external pressures to bring some politicians back to Iraq, stressing that they would not be allowed to return unless they comply with the judiciary.
Al-Fayez said in a statement to Al-Mawloom that "attempts to return wanted political fugitives outside the country are continuing with internal and external pressures, but most of the political blocs will not bow to those pressures and will not allow them to return unless they surrender to the judiciary."
"Those who call for their return should advise them to turn themselves in to be tried in accordance with the charges against them," Fayez said, adding that he would not give in to the wanted men if they surrender to justice.
The MP for the Fatah alliance Mohamed Baldawi revealed in a previous statement to the / information /, the existence of political pressure to return some of the wanted to the political scene, while confirmed the "impossibility" to agree to return them.
