Documents: Iraq freezes the funds of "Hamzah bin Laden" on charges of funding and add him to the list of prohibited travel

The Committee on the freezing of terrorist funds decided on Saturday to freeze the assets of Hamza Osama bin Laden on charges of financing an organization calling for the terrorist and preventing him from traveling.
"According to the sanctions committee established by Security Council resolutions 1297, 1989 and 2203 for the years 1999, 2011 and 2010, and the provisions of the AML / CFT Law No. 39 of 2010, (5) of 2019, and in accordance with the powers conferred on the Committee, the Committee for the Freeze of Terrorist Funds decided to add the entry to the Consolidated List, which came from the International Sanctions Committee on Al-Qaeda and associated individuals, groups, institutions and entities as follows:
(QDI.421) on the list of "encouraging" and al-Qa'ida sanctions for individuals and entities subject to freezing procedures, travel bans and arms embargoes under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.
Second: This decision shall be implemented from the date of its issuance.
Third: To make this decision on the ministries and entities not associated with the Ministry and the provinces and all provincial councils and financial and non-financial institutions and the relevant departments for the purpose of taking appropriate action on the name referred to above.
Fourth: This decision shall be published immediately in the official gazette and the website of AML / CFT.
