Dozens of retirees demonstrated before the General Retirement Authority in the center of the capital Baghdad, demanding that the severance pay equivalent to the end of service and the organization of the mechanism for the distribution of pensions.
One of the retired participants in the demonstration
said that "the Commission has distributed the equivalent of the end of service for only part of the former army dissolved, amounting to 9 trillion dinars, while not disbursed this equivalent to some of them," noting that "he submitted all the required documents that support the inclusion of this reward, "Ahmed did not do justice to us like our peers from retired former army."
