Anbar operations chief Mahmud al-Falahi, accused of collaborating with US intelligence, is currently being held in command of ground forces in Baghdad and is under investigation by a committee formed by the Defense Ministry, the Russian channel RT reported on Tuesday.
"Al-Falahi is now being held in command of the Iraqi ground forces in Baghdad and is under investigation before the committee formed by the Ministry of Defense," the channel quoted a military source as saying.
The sources added that "the farmer enjoys full freedom of movement within the military building, and mobile phones with him."
"The investigation is continuing and no final results have been reached so far," a military commander in the Defense Ministry was quoted as saying. Ending / 25
