BAGHDAD / Sumer News A member of the parliamentary legal committee Hussein al-Aqabi announced on Sunday the existence of 21 requests to lift the immunity of deputies because of criminal cases and others. Al-Aqabi said in a televised interview to Al-Sharqiya channel that "we warn against covering up the blocs on corruption issues," noting that "there are 11 requests related to criminal cases." "We do not have a legal obligation to lift immunity," he said.[/size]
