Company for copper and mechanical industries, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, on Wednesday, announced that it has obtained the international quality certificate (ISO 9001: 2015).
The company general manager Akram Shaker Abdel Fattah said in a statement that the company has obtained the international quality certificate after completing the qualification and development phase in cooperation with Hammurabi for engineering, technical and administrative consultancy according to the contract with it to qualify the factories covered by the certificate. Cooking gas cylinders production plant, cylinder valve production plant, copper wire production plant, Al-Rafah factory for mineral water production (250 ml), metal drums production plant of various sizes and preparation of internal auditors in cooperation with the company's quality management department and the audit phase. External certification through the contract with the company Vksl Business Services Limited. "
Abdul Fattah added, “The company has created a specialized cadre of internal auditors through the involvement of several specialized courses in this field, internal and external, including four courses within the company and in cooperation with the training department and two courses in the Kurdistan Region in cooperation with Hammurabi and Vexel and obtaining an international internal audit certificate ”.
The Director General noted that “this certificate is part of the company's endeavor to upgrade its products and raise the level of its national industry to levels that compete with the quality of foreign goods and an attempt to meet the need of the local market of these products and that his company is one of the first companies to obtain this certificate within the ministry companies in Anbar province And other ministries in the region. ” Ending / 25
