Zebari makes a comparison between the protests of Iraq and Lebanon with five participants, most notably the role of Iran

Hoshyar Zebari, a leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), on Friday held a comparison between the protests in Lebanon and Iraq, and reached five participants.
"Today's protests in Lebanon have many advantages in common with the recent protests in Iraq," Zebari said in a post on Twitter.
He summed up the joint protests in the two countries with "common anger at the political establishment, rampant corruption, lack of public services, Iran's role and inconclusive leadership."
