The new Minister of Health and Environment, Jaafar Sadiq Allawi, issued a series of exemption decisions for senior officials in the ministry.
According to a document issued by Allawi and obtained by the agency (Euphrates News) a copy of "it was decided to terminate the assignment of (Alaa Hussein al-Taie) of the functions of the Director General of the Department of Technical Affairs and return to his previous work and end the assignment of {Muzaffar Ali Abbas And return him to his previous work. "
It was also decided to "end the assignment of (Faris Hassan al-Lami) of the functions of the Director-General of the Department of Public Health and return to his previous work in the Ministry of Higher Education / University of Baghdad / College of Medicine."
The Minister of Health ended "entrusting Engineer Thaer Jaafar Abbas to the duties of Director General of Projects Management and Engineering Services and returning him to his previous work, and terminating the assignment of Dr. Wissam Saleh Al-Obeidi from the functions of Director General of the Inspection Department and returning him to his previous work."
Allawi was tasked with "the assistant director-general or technical assistant functions of the director-general until the appointment of a new director-general."
