Baghdad Governorate, announced that it is in coordination with the competent authorities to assign and implement four strategic sewer projects within the borders of the capital and its parties.
The governor of Baghdad, Mohammed Jaber al-Atta, said in a statement reported by the official newspaper "morning" and seen by the "economic news," that the province "intends to coordinate with the relevant authorities, the transfer and implementation of four strategic sewer projects within the capital, namely seven Albor, Nahrawan, Abu Ghraib and Unity district."
"The said projects will be announced for the purpose of referral and implementation directly with the competent companies with experience because the governors obtained powers from the Council of Ministers for the direct referral of important projects, which he stressed that their implementation will improve the level of services."
Al-Atta added that "the province recently approved the resumption of work on the suspended Tarmiyah sewerage project according to the Council of Ministers' decision 347 to suspend projects due to the financial crisis and low budget development of the regions." ".
In the same context, he pointed out that the governorate is launching a service campaign in the areas east of the dam, namely Hamidiya and seven palaces and factories to meet their needs within different sectors, noting that the work includes the cladding of roads east of the dam at a cost of two billion dinars, and the installation of two water parks with a capacity of 250 cubic meters per hour, pointing to the continuation of work To include schools east of the Canal development plan for Baghdad.
