Baghdad governorate announced that it is in coordination with the competent authorities to refer and implement four strategic sewage projects within the borders and outskirts of the capital.
The Governor of Baghdad, Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta, stated in a statement reported by the official "Al-Sabah" newspaper, which was read to him by "Al-Iqtisad News".
"The aforementioned projects will be announced with the aim of assignment and implementation directly with the competent companies with experience, given the conservatives obtaining powers from the Council of Ministers for the direct assignment of important projects, which he emphasized that their implementation will improve the level of services."
Al-Atta added, "The governorate recently approved the resumption of work on the suspended Tarmiyah sewage project according to Cabinet Resolution 347 regarding stopping projects due to the financial crisis and the low budget for developing regions", pointing out that this project is very important in raising the level of services in the said judiciary, especially during the summer season ".
In the same context, he clarified that the governorate is in the process of launching a service campaign in the East Al-Saddah regions which are Al-Hamidiya and seven palaces and factories to meet its needs within the various sectors, indicating that the works include covering the roads of the East Dam at a cost of two billion dinars, and installing two water parks with a capacity of 250 cubic meters per hour, indicating the continuation of work To include schools east of the canal in the development plan for Baghdad.
