"The White House statement is a blatant and flagrant interference in Iraqi affairs," he said.
"The Americans are forgetting that there is a religious authority that has the final say on Iraq, and has already announced that it rejects outside interference, whether it is individual or international, in the affairs of the Iraqi people," he said.
He stressed that "the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, to have an appropriate response to the White House statement, to reflect the opinion of the Iraqi people in general from the north to the south, and reflects the opinion of the reference, which I put forward, rejecting foreign interference in Iraqi affairs."
