MP for victory: the exception of deputies from the appearance before the judiciary shook confidence in parliament

Nada Shaker Jawdat, a member of the parliamentary parliamentary bloc, said that the exclusion of deputies from appearing before the judiciary "shook confidence in the parliament."
"At a time when the Iraqi street is inflamed, it comes to the exclusion of some deputies accused of corruption and granting them immunity."
She explained that "MP as long as accused of corruption must be held accountable like any other person, therefore, the process of exceptions for people in the House of Representatives for the purpose of fortification and protection of themselves from the judiciary is completely unacceptable, and there is no justification immunity deputies in parliament."
