"The well-known politician Izzat Shabandar threatened to be physically liquidated if he spoke about what happened to him in the UAE," said MP Kazem al-Sayadi.
"The UAE did not respect the sovereignty of Iraq by abducting Shabandar, because he holds the diplomatic passport and represents one of the prominent politicians in Iraq," Sayadi said.
Al-Sayadi said during his speech that he was an executive who arrested his ambassador in Iraq.
As for the reason Shabandar denied his abduction, he explained, that "Shabandar threatened physical liquidation if he spoke about what happened to him in the UAE."
