    The Iraqi General Cement Company, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, announced on Sunday that its Supervised Najaf Cement Factory has obtained a new version of the International Quality Certificate by the French (BUREAU VERITAS) company granting new specifications (ISO 9001-2015).
    The General Manager of the company, Eng. Hussein Mohsen Al-Khafaji, said in a statement, which received / Information /, a copy of it, that the French company (BUREAU VERITAS) granted the international quality certificate to the Najaf Cement Factory after completing the checks and audits and after field visits without marking any case of non-conformity with the standards system International Quality Management.
    Al-Khafaji added, “This achievement came as a result of the accumulated experience of the company and their unremitting efforts and their keenness to keep pace with international quality updates within the standards of international companies.” Noting that “the company's products in all its factories are subject to laboratory and field tests and carry high quality specifications.”
    The General Manager revealed that “Al-Najaf Cement Factory has achieved 129% of the production and sales plan for last November within the plans of the company to increase production and marketing that is running smoothly and higher than planned, achieving a percentage of development in production and sales of (122%) for the period from 1/1 Until 11/30/2019 compared to the same period in the previous year 2018.
    He emphasized, "The company endeavors to provide the best products to its customers at the most appropriate prices, whereby the Najaf Cement Factory offers its product from ordinary cement at a price of (68) thousand dinars per ton, in addition to the company's continued coverage of the need of the local market in cooperation with the private sector after the decision to prevent the import of cement." Ended / 25
