The Parliamentary Investment and Economy Committee saw, on Thursday, the approval of the general budget for the2020 year, which left a large legacy of debts on Iraq behind.
The committee member Nada Shaker Jawdat promised, "Failure to approve the budget is a cause of confusion in completing the projects that are still under implementation, as it may cause the investor’s confidence to decline in Iraq in the future."
She added, that the delay in the budget also contributed to the decline in investment activity in all of Iraq, which affected significantly to the projects established
