Kurdish leader: Shiite forces opposed to Zarfi did not agree on the alternative person yet

Kurdistan Democratic Party member Imad Bajlan said on Sunday that the Kurdish forces will not be an obstacle to passing any government that is offered “as long as constitutional rights are respected”, considering that the “Shi’ite” forces opposed to Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zarfi did not agree on the alternative person yet.
Baglan said in an interview with him, "The remainder of the mandate of the candidate, Adnan Al-Zorfi, does not exceed ten days from the period specified constitutionally, therefore efforts should be intensified in order to find a solution to get out of the political crisis and to address the remaining crises in the country."
And he stated, "We do not question the capabilities of the Prime Minister-designate in the ability to persuade other powers, but until this moment he was unable to persuade the opposing forces openly to him," adding that "the problem today with the Shiite forces opposing him, as it shows the opposition, but until this moment did not agree on the alternative person, Whether it is to restore confidence to the outgoing Prime Minister, Adel Abdel Mahdi, or to provide an agreed name.
