    {Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Municipalities is moving towards designing smart buildings for hospitals, while indicating that this smart technology will be energy-saving and environmentally friendly. In conjunction with that, the Ministry of Planning revealed that the file of 32 suspended hospitals has been resolved in all governorates.

    The Director General of the National Center for Engineering Consultation at the Ministry of Construction and Housing, Hassan Madab Mjhem, said in a press interview, "The center, as part of its plans to complete modern and sophisticated designs throughout the country, has completed the architectural, construction and service designs for three hospitals, two of which are in Salah al-Din Governorate: they are: Hardaniyah District. Balad, and Al-Mu'tasim in Samarra district, and the third hospital is the Imams Al-Jawadin Hospital in the north of Baghdad.
    He added that "the designs of Al-Jawadin Hospital were prepared using smart, energy-saving and environmentally-friendly buildings". The design was restored "as part of the center's efforts to develop urban construction and move towards smart buildings."
    He pointed out that "this idea will be generalized to all designs of the center if they achieve the required success."
    The smart building technology is the latest and most important in the world and it has great advantages, because it requires fewer staff to operate it, it also records the entry and departure times for doctors, nurses and reviewers, and reveals the areas most used and crowded inside it, as well as reveals the number of people who use the places in it, what can those in charge of Optimally manage air quality, heating and lighting costs according to the number of people.
