Minister of Industry Manhal Aziz Al-Khabbaz confirmed that Iraqi products lack marketing and promotion.
“The problem of our national industry is the legacy of 17 years, in addition to the mis-merging of companies,” Al-Baker said in a televised interview, which was followed by Al-Iktissad News. “We have 27 companies, of which only two are the winners.”
He added that "the industrial reality needs from 40 to 50 thousand affiliates," pointing out to me that "there are large companies operating at the level of the Arab world, such as cement, which is required from abroad."
He continued, "The electrical industries are good, especially the transformers, as in the Ur Badhi Qar Company.
