    Baghdad / Al-Mawred News

The legal expert, Tariq Harb, confirmed, on Saturday, that Iraq has the right to amend or cancel the agreement for the Turkish army to enter its lands.
Harb said, "The federal government can amend or cancel the agreement signed between the dissolved Baath regime and the Turkish government, which allows the Turkish army to enter the Kurdistan region at any time."
He added, "The House of Representatives has nothing to do with the matter, because the government has the authority to cancel the agreement, because the agreement was signed by Saddam Hussein, who was the head of the executive authority at the time, and it was not signed by the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council, which was the legislative authority at the time of the Baath regime."
