Hickey calls for securing the necessary protection for foreign companies in Iraq

Today, Sunday 16/5/2021, the British Embassy expressed its optimism that the missile attacks targeting Iraqi air bases would end in the near future.
In a statement, British Ambassador Stephen Hickey stressed the importance of these targets not being present in the future, especially as they include foreign companies.
According to the statement, Hickey called on the federal government to "provide the necessary protection for foreign companies working to train Iraqi forces, especially pilots, and to maintain the Iraqi F.16 fighters."
He explained, "These companies provided important support for the Air Force in Iraq, and it is also important to provide protection for them by the Baghdad government."
