    The Iraqi state’s spending, as of the end of last March, reached 17.44 trillion dinars, according to the Ministry of Finance.
    According to the state account report until March 2021, the fiscal deficit is 131.7 billion dinars during the first three months, and the state’s revenues amounted to 17.31 trillion dinars, divided into 15.25 trillion dinars as oil revenues, and 2.08 trillion dinars as non-oil revenues.
    The state spent an investment budget amounting to 387.5 billion dinars, divided into 290.3 billion dinars on the ministries, 50.2 billion dinars to develop regions, 45.7 billion petrodollars, and 7.3 million dinars was spent on reviving the marshes, and lastly 1.19 billion dinars was spent for the mitigation strategy From poverty.
    The Ministry of Electricity was the most, spending within the investment budget, as it spent 101 billion dinars, followed by the Ministry of Construction and Housing with 76.8 billion dinars.
    The operating budget amounted to 17.06 trillion dinars, of which 11 trillion dinars were spent in salaries for employees, and 3.5 trillion dinars for social care.
