Saleh said during the Bahr al-Ulum Dialogue Forum: "The number of Iraq's souls will be 80 million by 2050, and data indicate that financial oil revenues will decrease by 2030 in terms of reduced demand after the world switches to alternative electric energy."
He stressed that "the enormous reserves of Iraq and the countries of the region will not secure the future of our generations, and this requires cooperation together to face these challenges based on a capable and sovereign Iraqi national state."
