She added that "the ministry included 800 families with protection salaries and a full-time employee during the past two weeks, and these families were distributed between the areas of landfill and slums in the governorates of Baghdad, Mosul, Dhi Qar, Kirkuk, Diyala and Diwaniyah, as well as the holy governorates of Karbala, Najaf, Wasit and Muthanna," noting that "the research plan is It will also include all areas from which the Ministry will receive appeals directly or through television channels or the media and social media, as the field monitoring team will visit poor families in slums, landfill areas, slums and camps.
The head of the commission indicated that "these families suffer extreme poverty, destitution, illiteracy and live in difficult social conditions that lack the most basic elements of a decent life, as most of them live in mud houses with wooden roofs or in random camps, in addition to the fact that most of these families are supported by old women, and some Family members are people with disabilities,” explaining that “the field teams will continue the search and inclusion operations for these families despite the lack of financial allocations to the Ministry.”
Sajjad indicated that "the field monitoring teams of the ministry go on a daily basis to the locations of humanitarian cases whose presence the ministry receives notifications of through social media sites and satellite channels or directly from citizens or civil society organizations," noting that "these cases are included in the benefits and services of the ministry." Work according to the needs of those cases, most of which fall below the poverty line.
