    The Undersecretary for Production Affairs, Adel Karim Kak Muhammad, conducted a field visit to the Wasit thermal power station in his first visit since assuming his position last Tuesday, to see the work of the obstetric units at the station and to identify problems and obstacles and how to solve them.
    Upon his arrival, the agent held an extensive meeting with the advanced owners and listened to the mechanisms used in the maintenance work carried out by the owners on the obstetric units at the station, in addition to the problems and obstacles they face during maintenance work, and the governing needs of the station and how to provide them.
    He instructed the necessity of following up the work of the obstetric units, completing maintenance work on the fifth obstetric unit as soon as possible, and bringing it to work in order to supply the national system with electric power.
    He also met a number of Wasit governorate demonstrators and tribal sheikhs, listened to their demands and promised to solve all the problems they face, including the electricity supply in the governorate.
    In the same context, the Undersecretary of the Ministry met with the Governor of Wasit, Muhammad Al-Mayahi, and the mayor of Al-Zubaydia, and discussed with them the reality of the national system in the governorate and its needs for electrical energy, in addition to discussing the governorate's share of energy and the possibility of increasing it.
    The agent confirmed that the ministry is proceeding in several directions in order to improve the reality of the electrical system, including the plan to break the bottlenecks that the ministry’s staff are currently working on by installing mobiles and increasing the capacities of transformers to accommodate the excessive loads on the electrical network, where it is exposed from time to time to the occurrence of technical symptoms.
    He said, "The ministry is now facing a difficult challenge, especially in such difficult circumstances and the disparity in high temperatures, and it did not stop at this matter only, but there are other parties that want to impede their projects, including Al-Yagal by continuously targeting electric power transmission lines, especially this month, as the bombing was carried out Quite a few lines, and the limit reached to targeting production stations such as the Salah El-Din Thermal Station, which was opened only a few days ago, in addition to the decline in imported gas emissions, which also led to limiting the loads of the obstetric units and thus significantly affected the processing hours of citizens, and in all However, the Ministry's staff continues to carry out maintenance work continuously without interruption in order to reach the required level of energy and to combat these challenges.
    The Undersecretary of the Ministry announced the general mobilization of all the Ministry's cadres to keep pace with the request and advance what is their duty and provide it as a service to citizens.
