    Mubasher: Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail, the Iraqi Minister of Oil, revealed that the Dhi Qar refinery had been transferred to the Middle Energy Company, the investment alliance that includes a number of large Chinese companies.
    Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail said, in a statement issued today, Saturday, that the refinery will include integrated production units with a capacity of 100,000 barrels per day, and will be implemented according to the latest technical specifications, quality and advanced technology "Euro 5".
    Ismail pointed to the importance of this refinery in supporting the refining sector in Iraq, and the government's plans for sustainable development and in covering a large part of the local need for types of fuel, as well as providing job opportunities for the people of the province, expressing his hope to sign the contract during this month.
