Political sources said that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi's visit will discuss five main files, most notably the US military presence and support for Iraqi forces, including the continuation of the war against terrorism, as well as energy, health, anti-corruption and economic reform in Iraq.
The sources confirmed that the file of the American presence will dominate the Al-Kazemi-Biden meeting scheduled for the second day of the three-day visit, revealing that Al-Kazemi will discuss the withdrawal of American combat forces from Iraq, and the entire American forces will not be discussed.
The delegation accompanying Al-Kazemi consists of twenty-five members, the largest of its kind, and includes Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein, National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji, military leaders, in addition to other officials in ministries and state institutions.
