    , the General Company for Foodstuff Trade in the Ministry of Commerce, on Saturday, called on citizens to report any violations by receiving the ration card items within the food basket project. She explained that "the large quantities that it supplies in all governorates need oversight and auditing, as well as popular oversight, which calls on citizens to contribute directly to the success of the food basket project by reporting any violation related to the validity of the materials, their quality, or quantities, or the lack of cooperation by their bodies." spread in shopping centers and agents as well.” The company indicated that “the import and processing of large quantities of food may be tainted by some error in the first moments of the project’s start,” noting that it “is moving towards listening to citizens’ problems and taking quick and urgent decisions within hours of reporting any violation mentioned in the food basket project.” .

    The company said in an official statement issued by its media office, a copy of which was received by Al-Nour News, that it “calls on citizens to make the food basket project a success, by reporting any violations, whether related to the validity of the foodstuffs prepared for them, or if there are limited violations in them, This is done by contacting the company’s social networking sites or the communication sites of the Commercial and Financial Control Department of the Ministry.”





    For its part, the Commercial and Financial Control Department at the Ministry of Commerce called on citizens in all regions of the country to “report existing violations or not cooperate with them, or if there are any doubts about the types of materials supplied, as this department replaces any material that is reported within hours.” From agents or warehouses, to the receipt of good quality by citizens.”

    The department stressed that “the materials in the ministry’s stores are of very good quality and of well-known international origin, and some weak-minded people may replace these materials with others that do not agree with the foodstuffs prepared by the Ministry of Commerce through its marketing portals.”
