The Housing Fund announced the formation of a committee to set controls for the Dari project and the mechanism of ownership and construction, while referring to the inclusion of the fund's capital increase in the 2022 budget.
The Director General of the Housing Fund Dia Mujd said, "The Cabinet's decision to increase the fund's capital has been transferred. To the Ministry of Finance, which in turn will include it in the 2022 budget,” noting that “the Minister of Construction and Housing directed the formation of a committee to set controls for the “Dari” project and the ownership and construction mechanism.”
He added, "All loans provided by the Housing Fund are covered by the decision to increase the fund's capital," noting that "the fund's plan depends on the financial allocation provided by the Central Bank since 2016."
He noted that "the Central Bank has allocated nearly three trillion to the Housing Fund, provided as loans," noting that "
Mujed explained, "The application for loans is still open in the governorates of Muthanna, Anbar, Kirkuk, Salah al-Din and Nineveh."
