Shafaq News/ The Sadrist movement led by Muqtada al-Sadr believes that it is not interested in the meeting of the coordination framework with the three presidencies, which was held yesterday evening, Monday, as it is a continuation of a series of meetings that do not reach real solutions.
Former Sadrist MP, Riyad Al-Masoudi, told Shafaq News Agency, "The meeting of the political forces objecting to the election results with the three presidencies did not address core issues, but rather is a continuation of a series of meetings that do not reach real solutions to the Iraqi political reality."
He added, "All forces must believe in the will of the Iraqi people and in the results of the elections, and therefore we reject meetings of appeasement and mutual concessions or meetings held under international or regional pressure."
Al-Masoudi considered that "appeasement of others with parliamentary seats or government positions will not be in the interest of the Iraqi people, just as going towards chaos is also not beneficial to the people, and we have to accept the results of the elections and go towards active participation in the political process through other roles. The political process cannot be reduced to participation in the government." .
Regarding suggestions that Haider al-Abadi will be resubmitted to head the government, Al-Masoudi said, “The Sadrist bloc is the largest, and therefore it is the one that nominates the prime minister, the President of the Republic is assigned, and representatives of the political forces in Parliament vote, and therefore these meetings will not affect the entitlement of the Sadrist movement that leads the election results and is authorized according to the number of Its largest seats are named after the government.
He pointed out that the Sadrist movement "has no red lines on any candidate as long as it is in harmony with the program of the Sadrist bloc of the government."
Yesterday evening, Monday, a meeting was held at the home of former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, in the presence of all the forces of the coordination framework, the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, and the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan. Ministers, reduce tension and stop media escalation from all sides, search for legal solutions to the crisis of subjective election results, and ensure civil peace.
For his part, a political analyst close to al-Sadr's movement, Manaf al-Moussawi, told Shafaq News Agency, "The Sadrist bloc is not concerned with the axes of the meeting that was held yesterday in the presence of the three presidencies and leaders of most political forces, as he was dealing with the issue of threats against the prime minister, and therefore the Sadrist movement is not concerned with this." problematic."
Today, the leader of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, Qais al-Khazali, one of the most prominent political parties rejecting the election results, expressed his rejection of the election results, calling for the re-run of the legislative elections.
In statements to Al-Jazeera, which was followed by Shafak News Agency, Al-Khazali said that "the illogical results of the elections lead us to believe that they were programmed to give a party a wide margin," calling for the legislative elections to be re-run because of the accompanying manipulation.
While he questioned the attempt to assassinate Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, he said, "We have doubts about that. Do not reassure us of the official story."
