Tehran considers organizing the travel of Iraqi tourists to Iran one of its priorities: we strive to be good with them
During his meeting with the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad, Iraj Masjedi, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran, Shalbavan said that organizing the conditions of Iraqi tourists and working to distribute their trips geographically throughout the country, as well as increasing the period of their stay in the country, is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts in the Iraqi tourism market.
And he added: We seek, by regulating the conditions of Iraqi tourists who visit the country for the purposes of visits, treatment, health and tourism, to be good guests for them.
He considered the Iraqi tourism market an important priority for international cooperation, adding that "finding a regular structure in the field of tourists coming to the country and providing safe hosting conditions for them during the Corona period, is our basic approach after issuing entry visas again."
The Iranian official went on to say: We are seeking, by removing the obstacles and challenges that exist in the tourism sector between the two countries, to reach mutually agreed implementation methods.
For his part, Ambassador Masjedi announced readiness for any cooperation to enhance the tourism market between the two countries, expressing his pleasure to include the issue of organizing Iraqi tourists among the priorities of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts in the country.
