    The information / Baghdad ..
The assistant director of the Arvand Free Zone Organization for Cultural, Social and Tourist Affairs in Khuzestan Province in southwestern Iran, Qudratullah Tumayyan, announced Monday that it will facilitate the entry of foreign tourists, especially Iraqis, to the cities of Abadan and Khorramshahr.
During a joint meeting with the economic attache and the assistant of the Iranian consul in Basra held on Sunday at the Arvand Free Zone Organization, Qudratullah Tumayyan said that one of the measures of the Arvand Free Organization is to remove obstacles from foreign tourists, especially Iraqis, to visit the cities of Abadan and Khorramshahr.
He added that "medical and religious tourism and the markets of Abadan and Khorramshahr are attractive to Iraqi tourists, especially Basra Governorate, and removing the current obstacles can play a distinctive role in the context of attracting more tourists to this region."
The official pointed out that "a bank or exchange center will soon be opened in the borders of Shalamjah, adding, through this step, the problem of currency exchange for activists in the tourism sector and money changers in these international borders will be solved."
He stressed, "The necessity of putting practical solutions to all the challenges presented in the meeting, and that a representative of the Arvand region be present in the borders of Shalamcheh to solve and address the problems of Iraqi tourists." Ended / 25
