    , the Border Ports Authority issued 7 recommendations for workers at the Trebil border port with Jordan, for the purpose of following up and addressing the gaps and violations.

    The head of the commission, Omar Al-Waeli, said during an inspection visit he made to the border crossing, according to a statement received by "Al-Nour News", that "the Trebil border crossing in Anbar is the starting point for correcting any path that needs restoration in the procedures."

    The statement added, "The work progress was reviewed in the field at the port by checking the records of completed transactions and following up on the work of the sonar devices and health and service centers. accommodation, and the progress of work and the needs of travelers.”

    He noted that, after conducting the tour, a meeting was held with the directors and representatives of all departments operating in the ports, and they were directed to the following:
    1- Coordination with the working departments, information exchange and integration.
    2- Preventing tampering with weights or changing the description of the goods.
    3- Ensuring that the duty-free goods are checked and released only after the authorized person of the beneficiary is present.
    4- Emphasis on inspecting the goods and not releasing them until after ensuring their conformity with the specifications and controls of the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control.
    5- Checking all receipts to prevent any fraud and activate electronic work on the electronic platform.
    6- Emphasizing the commitment of all departments operating at the port to the workspaces of each party and preventing interference with powers in accordance with the issued laws.
    7- Checking the entry of tourist wheels and ensuring their exit from the country in accordance with the approved regulations.
    The statement indicated that the visit of the head of the authority to the Trebil border port yesterday, Saturday, came in order to send a message to all the workers at the border crossings that the authority, with its leadership, employees, officers and affiliates, is determined to continue reform and follow up on all loopholes and violations that affect the progress of the trade exchange process to eliminate or limit them, as well as Raising the morale of the workers and encouraging them to succeed in this important file.”
