Lebanese Minister of Industry, George Bushekian, announced on Thursday that he will visit Iraq next Saturday, to participate in the Lebanese-Iraqi Business Conference to be held in Baghdad, while noting that a number of partnership agreements will be signed between the two countries.
Bouchikian said, "He will visit Iraq next Saturday to participate in the Lebanese-Iraqi Business Conference, which will be held in the capital, Baghdad, on the 10th and 11th of this month," noting that "the conference will be attended by the Iraqi Ministers of Trade and Industry."
He added that "the conference will be attended by a large delegation of industrialists and Lebanese economic bodies," noting that "on Sunday, he will meet with the concerned Iraqi ministers and officials in the public and private sectors, and a number of partnership agreements will be signed between Lebanon and Iraq."
Bouchikian pointed out that he will represent the Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati in the "Made in Lebanon" exhibition, which will be held in the exhibition city in Baghdad under the auspices of Mikati, with the participation of 80 Lebanese industrial companies.
Bouchikian stressed "the importance of the historical and fraternal relationship between Lebanon and Iraq, especially in the field of trade exchange," stressing that "Iraqi markets are promising, as they include 40 million consumers."
