On Wednesday, the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) issued a comment on the Turkish bombing of northern Iraq on Tuesday.
"After the air strikes in Nineveh, with reports of civilian casualties, we stress the need to respect Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity at all times," UNAMI said in a tweet via Twitter, followed by "Mawazine News".
"The local population should be protected and conflicts resolved through dialogue and cooperation," she added. Ended 29/R77
