[size=45]Once again, Turkey is violating the Iraqi airspace and the country's sovereignty, targeting areas in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, and disregarding all customs and laws, the sanctity of air and land, and the good-neighborly relations between the two countries.[/size]
[size=45]In the early hours of Wednesday morning, 2-2-2022, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the start of Operation Winter Eagle in the areas of Derik, Sinjar and Kirkuk, while the Security Media Cell announced that Turkish drones had bombed Sinjar and Makhmour, and carried out air strikes in their areas.[/size]
[size=45]Turkey persists in its repeated aggression against Iraq, its sovereignty and security, inflicting human and material damage, and causing fear and panic among citizens. The time has come for the federal government and the regional government to use all peaceful, diplomatic and economic tools to stop these blatant intrusions and blatant aggression, to ensure the safety of citizens and their property, and to stop interference in the affairs of our country.[/size]
[size=45]As we condemn this treacherous aggression and demand its immediate cessation, we condemn and reject any interference, whatever its form, in the internal affairs of our country, and from which side it came.[/size]
