    Books / Fadel Hussein Al-Khafaji..
Iraq and many Arab countries are going through the problem of confusion in political life, so that the societies of these countries have become as if they are the patient who was infected with the Covid 19 virus and lacks immunity .. a slight cold may take his life. In expression of this meaning, it is self-evident and well-known to the public that the struggle for power and the competition for governance are at the core of political life in any country in the world, and thus choosing the best and most worthy of leadership and bearing public consequences and responsibilities. As for most Arab countries, there is no guarantee that the struggle for power will achieve such results.. In most cases, access to power is for those who are stronger..not necessarily the most efficient..why?! Because sometimes violence has become the only means of political action.! Here we are talking about Arab countries in general and many third world countries. !
The map of governance in the Arab countries confirms the exacerbation of this phenomenon and its aggravation.. If we go back to modern history.. Since the end of the First World War and the emergence of the Arab countries into existence.. dozens of rulers have rotated in power in the various Arab countries.. Many of them were assassinated or executed. Or isolated as a result of military coups or exile outside their countries. ! .. It is a tragic picture .. The process of competition in some of our Arab countries .. Unfortunately... it is taking place in the name of democracy .. But!! And Iraq is one of these models that interests us... It is natural for the people to be clearly harmed.. Among these damages, he included an example of the delay in the budget of the State of Iraq... The delay in the election of the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister, and then the formation of the ministry.. and consequently the delay in approving the state's general budget As is known, the budget needs discussions and skirmishes under the dome of Parliament, and after completing other procedures, such as ratification by the President of the Republic and publishing it in the Official Gazette. All of this... leads to delays in the completion of projects and an increase in unemployment...etc. All of this affects the entire community. This is just an example...
Hence, we say..it is necessary, then, that those who care about Iraq, such as (politics), people of knowledge, experience and experience, and all those interested in the fate of the people, rise to address this reality, to stand up seriously, to study the means to stop the deterioration in political life in Iraq.. These people must start From the need for principles and foundations regulating this important issue.
Our topic is directed to politicians...because they bear a responsibility in this field...and it shows us that the experience of governance in Iraq after 2003 did not benefit the politicians, nor did they benefit from the events they went through previously, and specific principles of public life have not been crystallized until now.. In the absence of principles, society turns into a repository of tragedies.
