The extension movement announced that it has set its conditions in return for participating in the presidential selection session to be held next Monday.
A statement from the movement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, said, "Children of our dear country, out of the great responsibility entrusted to us and because we are all partners in this responsibility, we offer you the referendum on several important demands that affect the life of the citizen and harmonize his aspirations to be our conditions for voting in the round. The second is to elect the president of the republic after we have presented a candidate for an alliance for the people in the first round, and these demands are directed to the bloc or blocs that adopt the presidential candidate in the second round.
Our demands:
1- Hold accountable the perpetrators of the bloody massacres against the youth of Tishreen (Al-Sinak massacre, Revolution Square massacre, Al-Sadryn Square massacre, Al-Tayaran Square massacre and the rest of the other massacres, on top of which is the Al-Zaytoun Bridge massacre and those accused of carrying it out (Jamil Al-Shamri, Adel Al-Dakhili, Omar Nizar..etc). .
2- Exposing the kidnapped and disappeared and following up this file seriously, including: Sajjad Al-Iraqi, Faraj Al-Badri, Wai Al-Jubouri Ali Jaseb, Jalal Al-Shahmani.
3- Issuing a general and special amnesty for demonstrators convicted of non-criminal cases.
4 - Finding real and effective solutions to the file of the displaced, ending their suffering and providing them with suitable job opportunities.
5- Seeking to reduce the prices of oil and its derivatives for citizens throughout the country and in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, especially due to the difficult weather conditions.
6- Reducing the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar according to a well-studied economic mechanism and supporting locally produced goods against imported ones.
7- Adopting the completion of the FAO project within a maximum period of two years and seriousness in reviewing the stages of work in it for the past period.
8- Activating the Public Prosecution Law.
9- Applying the law of parties and not allowing any party that owns an armed wing to participate in the elections and to withdraw its license.
10 - Legislation of the Right to Information Act.
11- Repeal the laws that limit freedom of expression and criticism of authority figures and others that are related to the laws issued by the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council and replace them with laws that support freedom (legislative guillotine).
12- Develop a clear program with successful tools and allocate funds to create job opportunities and employ the unemployed in the public and private sectors.
13- Ensuring the independence of the independent bodies by creating a new mechanism for electing their people, and banning any partisan or quota interference in their formation, while expanding the oversight powers of them, such as the Integrity Commission. Ended 29/R99
