    Today, Wednesday, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein discussed with the Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations, Ambassador Zhang Jun, the outcomes of the Security Council resolution to end the Iraqi compensation file for Kuwait.
    The ministry said in a statement that Al-Nour News received a copy of it, that "Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein met the Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations, Ambassador Zhang Jun, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York," noting that "the two sides discussed the outcomes of the Security Council resolution on ending compensation. And the fruitful cooperation of the members of the Security Council in this important file for Iraq and its people, and its positive repercussions on the future of the country and its capabilities.
    And she added, "The minister thanked the government of the People's Republic of China on behalf of Iraq for supporting Iraq's efforts to fulfill its obligations and exit from Chapter VII procedures."
