KRG: Establishing an investment or commercial company in Kurdistan takes only one hour
Shafaq News/ The Kurdistan Regional Government announced that it has provided enormous facilities to investors and traders wishing to establish companies in the region.
Qubad Talabani said in a speech to a group of people interested in economic affairs in Erbil, that establishing companies was a difficult, time-consuming and expensive process at the same time, and it became an obstacle to the work of investors, adding, "But we have reformed the system, and establishing a company in the region only takes One day at the moment.
He added, "We are currently in the process of reforming the banking system, and we have effective electronic banks," stressing, "We want to further develop this sector because it is important for transparency and the process of transferring money quickly."
Talabani continued by saying, "I support the establishment of a commercial center in the region because of its importance in gathering and containing merchants, and establishing a network for investors," stressing, "We seek to diversify the economy in the Kurdistan Region."
