[rtl]Today, Wednesday, Parliamentary Finance Committee Chairman Hassan Al-Kaabi affirmed the tendency to support the projects of the Ministries of Water Resources and Trade to achieve food security .[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Kaabi said in a speech during the Finance Committee's hosting of the Minister of Water Resources, "We thank the Speaker of Parliament for his attention to meeting the needs of the Ministry of Water Resources in light of the current situation, and there is a trend towards projects that support achieving food security, especially those related to the Ministries of Resources and Trade ."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "It is the duty of the Finance Committee to put the necessary financial allocations and correct them in the right place, and this will not happen if there are no side meetings with the ministries in order to clarify the picture ."[/rtl]
[rtl]He continued, "The allocations requested by the Ministry of Water Resources may be large and numerous, and part of them fall into different sectors. Parliament and Parliamentary Finance are heading towards completing the triangle that achieves food security ."[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that "the Parliamentary Finance met with the Minister of Resources and discussed the ministry's allocations and the schedules submitted by the ministry to the parliamentary finance, and it will be appropriate to put an amount commensurate with the remaining time period and with the ministry's plan, and not necessarily allocating the same amount submitted by the ministry, but it meets the ministry's need in a satisfactory manner ."[/rtl]
