[size=45]Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani confirmed his follow-up and direct support for all airport projects in the governorates.[/size]
[size=45]A statement from his office stated that Al-Sudani “chaired, today, a meeting of the executive body of Nasiriyah International Airport, during which the implementation of the airport project was followed up, the stages of completion were reviewed, and His Excellency was informed of the progress rates according to the timetables.”[/size]
[size=45]During the meeting, Al-Sudani pointed out “the importance of overcoming all financial obstacles to the continuation of the project, as the government has committed to all financial requirements with the implementing Chinese company, and will continue its commitment according to the implementation and completion stages and the timeline for the project’s progress.”[/size]
[size=45]He explained that “the Nasiriyah International Airport project is one of the important strategic projects, not only for Dhi Qar Governorate, but for all of Iraq, and that all airport projects in the governorates receive his attention and direct follow-up, due to their importance for comprehensive economic development, creating job opportunities, facilitating the work of companies, and expanding areas of investment and economic partnerships.”[/size]
