Yesterday, Tuesday, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah, praised the work of the Iraqi Media Network, stressing the need to keep it away from political strife.
Abdullah said, during his meeting with the head of the Iraqi Media Network, Dr. Nabil Jassim: "The House of Representatives will provide all support and backing to the network in order to carry out its national and humanitarian mission away from any political pressures that affect its independence, and in a manner that preserves its independent identity."
He added that "the development of the network's performance came through the network's media activities with its various names, after its management was keen on making the Iraqis professional and effective in light of the presence of many local and international channels," noting "the importance of the network's strengthening of the national identity during its performance and work."
He stressed that "it is natural that some people do not like the professionalism that the Iraqi Media Network is following, so they seek to obstruct or offend it."
For his part, the head of the Iraqi Media Network confirmed that “what happened in the development was not an easy thing,” noting that “the network stands at the same distance from all political components and is continuing to complete its reform project from
