The Ministry of Commerce announced, on Monday, that the quantities of local wheat marketed to grain stores exceeded one million seven hundred thousand tons, with the continued influx of marketers and farmers to the marketing centers, silos and silos belonging to the General Company for Grain Trade to deliver the crop.
The company's general manager, Muhammad Hanoon, said that "the company "follows up with its branches in Nineveh, Kirkuk, and the governorates of the Kurdistan region the operations of harvesting and marketing on a continuous basis and directing the sites to the importance of facilitating all possibilities for farmers and working to ensure that cars do not stay overnight and seek to receive all trucks that reach them."
He stressed that "the company during this year went beyond a lot of routine by facilitating all procedures for farmers and marketers by marketing the crop to the stores of the Ministry of Trade, after the purchase price was one and one degree, as well as disbursing the financial dues and delivering them to the farmer without delay."
And the company's general manager indicated that "the total quantities of local wheat that were received until yesterday Sunday amounted to (1,742,650.350) million tons of wheat, with the hope of marketing more quantities and increasing the pace of marketing in the coming days."
