The New Generation movement called, on Wednesday, for civil disobedience in front of the headquarters of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Erbil, following the rise in gasoline prices.
The Parliamentary Head of the New Generation Movement, Sarwa Abdul Wahed, said in a tweet via Twitter that Mawazine News followed, that this queue in Erbil is waiting for (Iraqi gasoline), that is, fuel, and its price is 690 dinars, while the price of Kurdish gasoline is 1150 dinars.
"I hope they will leave this queue and head to the government building and declare civil disobedience to pressure the government and reduce the price of fuel," Abdel Wahed continued.
Abdel Wahed concluded her tweet, "The new generation has distributed fuel with 650 and the government is powerless." Ended 29/R77
