    Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. (Hani Al-Uqabi) and the supervision of the Director General of the Baghdad Health Department, Dr. (Saad Kamel Al-Lami), the Baghdad Health Department Al-Karkh held its eleventh annual scientific conference at Gilgamesh Hall in the Babylon Rotana Hotel, in the presence of a representative of the Minister of Health and a number of members of the Council Representatives, the Assistant Director-General of Popular Clinics, and a group of Iraqi personalities and researchers, directors of hospitals and primary health care sectors


    The conference began with a scented recitation of the Holy Quran, playing the national anthem, and reading Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq and the White Army.


    The Director General of the Baghdad Health Department, Dr. (Saad Kamel Al-Lami), delivered his speech in which he welcomed the attendees, noting that this conference comes to achieve scientific and health integration between all health institutions and research centers and the efforts of a whole year of continuous work united by the slogan of scientific research and the establishment of workshops the work
    On the sidelines of the conference, an exhibition was opened to display laboratory equipment and medical supplies from the sponsoring companies

    And the Director of the Laboratories Division added the specialty of pathological analyzes (Osama Sadiq Kazem). The conference was held under the auspices of the specialized companies (Delta, Zahrat Al-Rawan, Al-Raya, Shams Al-Watan, Stars Group, United Medical Company, United Horizons, Al-Amal Medical).
    The member of the Scientific Committee indicated that many researchers from different governorates of Iraq and health institutions participated in it, in which the capabilities of the Baghdad Health Department, Karkh, were integrated in holding meetings of a group of specialized researchers, where the number of scientific research in various topics (blood diseases, tissue disease, microbiology, molecular biology clinical medicinal chemistry)

    At the end of the conference, Al-Lami presented the conference shields to researchers and professors participating in research and conference organizing committees at the conference.
