The Iraqi Council of Ministers decided to disburse the dues of the farmers of the Kurdistan region for the wheat crop for three years.
A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Nermin Maarouf, said that she "discussed this issue with the Ministry of Commerce, and it is scheduled to send the first batch of dues for 2014 to the Kurdistan region next week."
She added, "Other debts will be sent after that." End 29
