revealed that the Directorate of Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances in the Ministry of Interior revealed that the Ministry of Health submitted a proposal to examine all state employees to establish their safety from drug abuse.
"The directorate is serious in combating drug crime through a strategic action plan targeting major drug dealers and directing quick strikes to them," said Colonel Bilal Sobhi, director of the drug control directorate.
He added, on the other hand, that "the Ministry of Health submitted a proposal to examine all state employees to ensure their safety from drug use, and our directorate approved it, provided that it is included as a legal text within the Anti-Drug Law No. 50."
He also pointed out that "the directorate, in cooperation with the Directorate of Public Relations and Information in the Ministry of Interior, participated in seminars, workshops and lectures to educate students about the danger of drugs," praising "the cooperation of the ministries of higher education and education in this regard."
He pointed out that "the Directorate of Drug Control will hold a seminar at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education related to the danger of drugs, while there will be cooperation to hold awareness workshops and seminars for students in cooperation with the directorates of education."
He pointed out that "a workshop will be held in the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, with the participation of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Education, the Supreme Judicial Council, Health and all relevant authorities, as well as a number of university professors in order to educate students and youth about the effects and dangers of narcotic substances." .
He noted "the cooperation of the High Commission for Human Rights and tribal elders with the Directorate in the field of community awareness of the danger of drugs, while the citizen had an important role in dismantling many networks by calling the hotline of the General Directorate for Drug Control No. (178).
