The Cabinet voted, on Tuesday, to form 4 ministerial committees in the field of energy, services and human development.
Al-Sudani’s office stated in a statement that “the Ministerial Council for the Economy is composed of the Deputy Prime Minister / Minister of Foreign Affairs / Chairman, Deputy Prime Minister / Minister of Planning / Member, Minister of Finance / Member, Minister of Trade / Member, Minister of Agriculture / Member, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs / Member and Minister Industry and Minerals/Member.
The Council also consists of "the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers / member and Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq / member and Chairman of the National Investment Commission / member and economic advisor to the Prime Minister / member and economic adviser to the Prime Minister / member and Secretary of the Council."
As for the Ministerial Council for Energy, it is composed of “Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Oil/President and Minister of Finance/Member, Minister of Water Resources/Member, Minister of Electricity/Member, Head of the Legal Department in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers/Member and Director General of the Cabinet Affairs and Committees Department/General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers Ministers/Secretary to the Council.
The statement explained that "the Ministerial Council for Social Services consists of" Deputy Prime Minister / Minister of Planning / two chairs, Minister of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works / member, Minister of Health / member, Minister of Justice / member, Minister of Transport / member, Minister of Migration and Displacement / member and Minister of Environment / member The Chairman of the Advisory Board/member and the Secretary of the Council.
The Ministerial Council for Human Development is composed of the Minister of Health / Chairman, Minister of Education / member, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs / member, Minister of Culture / member, Minister of Youth and Sports / member, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research / member, Minister of Communications / member and Advisor to the Prime Minister for Strategic Affairs / member Member of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers/Department of Cabinet Affairs and Committees/Secretary to the Council
