, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani stressed, on Monday, the importance of adopting the constitution as a basic reference for resolving all outstanding issues.
Al-Sudani's office stated in a statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani received this evening, Monday, members of the House of Representatives from the Kurdistan Democratic Party parliamentary bloc, and during the meeting they reviewed the political, social and economic conditions at the national level, and the most important Challenges facing reform and development plans.
The Prime Minister assured the members of the bloc, "The importance of adopting the constitution as a basic reference for resolving all outstanding issues or difficulties faced by the joint work between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq."
Al-Sudani urged "intensifying efforts to integrate parliamentary work in oversight and legislation with the government's efforts seeking reform and raising the level of services, in order to achieve the aspirations of citizens throughout the country."
And he stressed "the need to work to strengthen the home front, and to secure protection for all components and fraternal spectra of the Iraqi people, towards consolidating coexistence and sustainable civil peace." Ended 29 / h.
