Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani considered providing services a priority for his government, pointing out that there are 10 trillion in the emergency support for food security and development law that does not fit with the government's directions. Al-Sudani said in a press conference held on the sidelines of the cabinet meeting, that “providing services is a priority for government work.”
Al-Sudani added, "The service and engineering effort continues to increase in more than one region, and is present in 21 locations, including 14 in Baghdad and 4 in Diwaniyah Governorate."
He pointed out that “the service effort team raised the slogan 2023 years of services,” stressing that “the cost of rehabilitating Al-Kadhimiya Hospital is less than 3 billion dinars and with Iraqi capabilities.”
Al-Sudani pointed out, “The generalization of the experience of Al-Kadhimiya Hospital to 10 other hospitals,” explaining that “the next year’s budget will include funds to provide medicines by 100% in hospitals.”
He emphasized, “The existence of specialized committees in managing hospitals,” and talked about “a budget that will be for specialized centers in hospitals.” Al-Sudani noted, “10 trillion dinars within the Emergency Support for Food Security and Development Law does not conform to the government’s directions,” noting that “the Minister of Electricity requested a set of financial and administrative powers.”
And Al-Sudani continues, “Next summer will be different by supplying electric power to citizens,” stressing that the ration card will witness an improvement during the current month for the social protection category.
